She made me feel strong and beautiful as I made her classes part of my routine throughout my entire pregnancy. I've watched her motivate, inspire, and heal others with her positive and honest words. What are some of your daily rituals to keep yourself in manifesting and receiving mode?
Meditation, movement, all my morning concoctions from yin power tonic to greens and of course facial serums and jade roller xx
Who has inspired you most to go for your dreams/goals?
I can’t say it’s just one particular person but ALL of my friends who have started business or launched brands (cough cough Mother Manifestor!!) that truly inspire me. It’s so awesome to see your friends succeed and go for it , it becomes infectious to me :)
What is your earliest memory of the power of manifesting working for you?
My early days of being an ambassador for Lululemon gave me insight to the power of creating a life you love. Vision and goal setting then became a practice I still use today. It showed me how to get really clear on what it is I want in my life and why, including my move to Miami and launching CMM!
What were the affirmations you used and books you read to help turn your dreams of owning your own business into a reality?
One thing I remind myself of regularly, is that there is enough success to go around. There will always be someone one two or three steps ahead of you in what you want to do or where you want to be and that always means there’s someone behind you, looking at you the same. SO, focus on you and your why, and use those ahead of you as motivation to keep going bc we all deserve success!
What do you do to avoid negative thoughts and fears?
Like before, stay focused on what I want to accomplish and my why. I also like to day dream a bit on all the really cool things I could/would/will do and find some really good music to get happy about everything and trust the process :)
What is the biggest gift you’ve received through the power of manifesting?
The gift of freedom and flexibility. The power of choice.
Tell us about your career and how CMM came to life.
My career in fitness started officially 8 years ago, but movement and music has always been a part of my life. I grew up a gymnast and dancer and it’s always been a passion of mine. CMM came about through my exploration of freedom of movement. Wanting to feel creative freedom in movement expression but structure of purpose. I wanted to do something that got me out of my head and into my body. Embodiment vs. Expectation.
Do you have any meditation techniques you’d like to share with our readers?
I practice a meditation technique called Ziva. What I like about this method is it’s purpose is to teach you a mediation practice that you can use FOREVER. I don’t have to rely on an app or Wi-Fi or alarm and it’s been a really powerful tool that has come into my life. One small part I’ve learned is taking in an awareness of all 5senses will awake your “6th sense” which is your creativity, your intuition and your ability to be in the present moment. Super powerful stuff!
Are there any self-care techniques that you’d like to share with us?
The things that light you up inside (the right side brain /creative side) whether it’s dancing, reading, painting etc need to be a priority in order to feel able to take on whatever is happening in your life. I truly believe keeping those things active in your schedule will directly impact all of your life in the most positive way!!
